What's new in Visual Studio ALM vNext?
All of the demo scripts used by Anthony are available in a Hyper-V virtual machine containing Visual Studio 11 Developer Preview ALM. In discussion after his presentation, Andrew pointed out that to get started with XP Embedded you only need to have a second partition on your existing hard disk and boot into that rather than the normal one to test with. Would save some of the attendees that $500 to get started.

As announced at the DevDays seminar last Friday, the newly formed MSDN User & Developer Forum will be having its first meeting on Thursday 1st October at 5:45pm at Microsoft, Level 7 Waterfront Place, 1 Eagle St, Brisbane.

Help to create a forum for the exchange of information.
The purpose of the first meeting is to get a feel for the direction of the group and to gauge the level of interest. All participants are welcome (even if they are not MSDN subscribers)
There will be a talk on Thursday Night on class modules and the creation of dynamic data structures using VBA.

This was the invitation to the first meeting of QMSDNUG. The name of the group was decided that night and it was also decided to meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. This continues today. No, it wasn't a typo; Microsoft's office WAS on level 7 back in those days.
